Initially set for theatrical release in France on 4 March 2020, then delayed slightly a week to 11 March, it was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic, first to 23 September, then to 21 October. Due to cinemas closing again the next week, it was re-released when they reopened in May 2021. Theatrical releases in Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg were similarly affected.
