A major plot point of the film is Chris's christian cross hanging from the rear view mirror of his driving school car. This is illegal in GB and would actually fail an MoT test were the car old enough.
It is mentioned a few times that Chris the driving instructor works for the "DVLA" - the driver and vehicle licencing agency. In fact, he would be registered with the "DSA" the driving standards agency.
