Comedy and entertainment can be just stupid and wild. It can still make you laugh and it can still be fun. This is and I loved it. Mike Myers is great and I am glad he has made something again. Mike Myers has always made us have some fun quick laughs.
A review of the first episode only: Mike Myers is back in an Austin Powers style comedy and so far it's not too bad. If you are a fan of his comedy you won't be disappointed but don't expect any LOL moments at least for the 1st episode.
It's a Mike Myers vehicle for his brand of silly comedy. You know exactly what you are getting before the starting credits roll. If you don't like his previous stuff you aren't going to like this. Pointless complaining about holes in the story line, crass humour or down right rude bits as that what he's done since the 90s. It was fun.
I spent the first few episodes thinking... this style of comedy was done and finished.
Yet I kept watching.....
By the midpoint, I was chuckling away at silly "old school" toilet humour.
I remembered how not to take everything so seriously.
By the end, I was laughing out loud at the randomness of cliches and stupid jokes while noticing that Mike Myers sparked the way for the Coen Brothers and Wes Anderson.
To be fair, it's not brilliant, but hey, neither are you.
