Although I appreciate the director highlighting the lifestyles of Vincent and Theodore Van Gogh I found the entire film to be extremely disturbing. That was probably the point. I happened to catch a clip of the film on my way out of the door. I am glad I made a point of going back to watch the entire film from the start to finish however I don't know if I can just recommend anyone watching the film due to the disturbing content. It made me wonder if mental illness is common with Dutch European lines honestly.
