Exclusive: Rhona Mitra (Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans), Famke Janssen (X-Men) and Stefani Martin (The Last Kingdom) have been set to star in sci-fi action horror movie The Experiment, which is underway at Rebellion Studios in the UK.
Set in 2080 in a world recovering from catastrophic nuclear war, The Experiment follows an elite spec-ops team, led by Captain Ava Stone (Mitra), sent on a rescue mission into a top secret military research facility after a rogue employee takes a group of scientists hostage.
The project marks the first for action label Action Xtreme, the genre division of UK arthouse producer-distributor Sovereign Media (Triangle Of Sadness).
Chee Keong Cheung (Redcon-1) is directing. Producers are Andreas Roald, Chee Keong Cheung and Ioanna Karavela and executive producer is Derek Rogers. Script comes from Alistair Cave, Matthew Thomas Edwards and Oliver Morran (Every Last One of Them) from a story by Chee Keong Cheung.

Modern Films has debuted the trailer and poster for Jacqueline Lentzou feature ‘Moon, 66 Questions.’
The movie focuses on Artemis who, after years of distance, has to return to Athens due to her father’s frail state of health. Discovering her father’s well-kept secret allows Artemis to understand her father in a way she was not able to before, and to love him truly for the first time.
The film is an intimate and touching portrayal of a teenager as she is forced to reevaluate her relationship with her father

Exclusive: The Last Ship, Strike Back and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans alum Rhona Mitra has joined the cast of action movie Hounds of War for Dean Devlin’s (Independence Day) Electric Entertainment, which is selling the film internationally.
Mitra will star with Frank Grillo and Nicky Whelan in the role of Caterina Murino. Isaac Florentine is directing and filming is underway in Malta.
The movie will follow a group of mercenaries who take on jobs that are considered impossible. After a mission goes wrong due to a shocking betrayal, only one of them is left alive to avenge his fallen brothers.
Trilight Entertainment’s Shayne Putzlocher and Jaggurnaught’s Jean Pierre Magro, Pedja Miletic and Aaron Briffa are producing. The film is also produced and co-financed by Sara Shaak of Anamorphic Media, and executive-produced by Grillo, Nika Finch and Polina Pushkareva.

"Your eyes are getting worse!" Gravitas Ventures has unveiled a trailer for The Other Me, an indie drama from a Georgian filmmaker named Giga Agladze. This was quietly dumped this month without marketing or promotion at all, and no festival debuts. Jim Sturgess stars as an architect who is diagnosed with a rare eye disease, sending him into a surreal reality in which he sees people's "true motives". As these visions get more intolerable, he falls for a mysterious woman and confronts the truth about his own identity. The film's cast also includes Rhona Mitra, Orla Brady, Andreja Pejic, Antonia Campbell-Hughes, and Jordi Mollà. It's also executive produced by David Lynch, which is a bit strange. But this whole trailer is strange. There's one weird shot of shadowy figures, but the rest of it is just Sturgess going around yelling at nobody?
