This film depicts how there is still light in such a dark world. It truly reaches all audiences! From high intensity to deeply heartfelt scenes, there is so much to unpack. From old to youn'g, we all can learn something trough this film. True definition of an artpiece! Great work from the director who depicts his voice through his gift!
This group, this film, truly one of a kind!
The characters, Young' G, acting brought me back to my prom days and how excited I was! A brilliant display of how we all have our own prom experience, GOOD OR BAD!
I truly appreciated my time spent watching this film and I felt the need to leave this review!
So sit back and relax and enjoy.
The cast delivers standout performances, capturing the nuances of teenage angst and the awkwardness of first love with authenticity and charm. The chemistry between the characters feels genuine, making their relationships all the more compelling to watch unfold on screen.
With its relatable characters, witty dialogue, and poignant storytelling, "Youn'G" is a refreshing addition to the coming-of-age genre. It's a heartfelt reminder that sometimes the greatest adventures and revelations can happen in the span of just a few days. Overall, "Youn'G" is a delightful and uplifting film that will leave audiences laughing, crying, and ultimately feeling inspired.
Had the opportunity to see this on the big screen and now again at home with my wife. Both times I found myself enjoying the story and pulling for Xavier (Bryce Clyde Jenkins). There are moments that bring me back to times with my friends during my senior year in high school, but then I was drawn into the mature drama going on with who we find out later is Xavier's dad (do not worry the synopsis tells us this). There are relatable bits of comedy dropped in on both sides of the story that come together well. I rated this on being a true independent low budget film. When all is said and done, they made the best out of what they were given. Hope to see a second installment of Youn'G and more of Snax and Rabbit they were definitely funny and helped break up the serious moments.
