All of the recordings that are saved on the VHS tapes or viewed real time on older CRT televisions are in a very narrow POV view. Yet during Maria's simulated immersive bike ride the projected images from these tapes appear to have at least 180 degree view point. Projecting scenes on her sides as well as in front.

All the POV views from the living, out their eyes, are stored on VHS tapes and often projected with a very old technology protector that has 3 large RGB lensed bulbs or lights that are each approximately 9-10in in diameter. However, when the viewer sees the projected video on the screen it is notably 10s of times sharper than an image you'd expect sourced from VHS and displayed via practically the oldest type of projector possible.
