Based on the Off-Off Broadway play 'The Mayor's Limo'. The play was created by Mark Nassar, and he also played the role of Banzai during its New York and Los Angeles runs. Mark Nassar also wrote the screenplay for the film and played the role of Scalise.
The film has won awards from: Bridge Fest (Audience Award), Santa Monica International Film Festival (Best Feature and Audience Award), Montana Independent Film Festival (Best Feature), Naperville Independent Film Festival (Best Actor - Jon Bernthal), Canada International Film Festival (Best Feature and Grand Jury Award), George Lindsey UNA Film Festival (Golden Lion Award).
