Absolutely incredible work! This is the best documentary about WWII I've ever seen. The facts and presentation are superb. Neutral approach to the theme with fantastic host and whole lot of a historical facts gives you unforgetable experience. It's like you are witnessing the actual war.
This show is apsolutely recommended to everyone who likes World War II. It's educational and really professionaly done. Its 10 out of 10 without any doubt.

Now that the series is finally over, it's not unreasonable to say this is a masterpiece--Indy and the team at TimeGhost have produced was is undeniably one of the most expansive, innovative and sincere documentaries in human history. 300+ hours of fiendishly researched and even handed storytelling brings us closer to history than ever before by putting us back there, week by week, 79 years ago.
It should go without saying that TimeGhost's key innovation--the real time coverage X number of years ago--is one of the most important aspects that can't be overstated enough: this element is a game changer for all historical content going forward. The ability to convey the scale, scope, yet also intimacy.. is the central distinction that changes everything for historical content.
It is very important to also mention the several editional sub-series that cover more specific topics (home front, espionage, human rights violations, etc) are also an all encompassing aspect to truly convey the time, place and.. zeitgeist of the 6 years and 1 days that World War 2 ran for. These should not be skipped!
Finally, TimeGhost fought tooth-and-nail to overcome despicable censorship efforts over what is one of the least exploitative and finely researched series to ever exist; a true double edged sword as the decentralized and independent nature of YouTube and Intetnet content hosting made this, and the prior series The Great War, only possible now. Unfortunately, the YouTube guidelines apparently are indiscriminate and uncaring for how well researched and how passionate and good-faith this docu-series was--thanks heavily to a crowd funding platform of Patreon allowed The Second World War to perservere despite what shouldn't happen: the censorship of history and our capacity for falling in line with corporate demands to not offend or discomfort anyone.. except for the deadliest conflict in human history, of which we still live in the shadows and echos of to this day, should NEVER be held back from teaching anyone open to learn.
This series will undoubtedly remain a pillar of integrity, knowledge and endless source of historical record for what should always remain in our collective memories.
Never Forget.
