This had a lot of potential but it was far too slow. I kept wandering off to do things and looking at my phone. I'd rewind it and try to force myself to pay more attention, but I couldn't.
I understand they were trying to be "artistic" with it but it failed tremendously.
The acting was almost too dramatic/intense to the point it made the storyline much less convincing even for fantasy.
Nice try, but no bueno.
If you want to watch an end-of-the-world plot movie about humans losing one of their five senses...watch "Perfect Sense"

After reading the description and watching the trailer, I was eager to see this movie, but I had to wait several months for it to be released in North America. I was finally able to catch it on Amazon Prime, and it did not disappoint. The movie is beautifully filmed, first in crisp black and white with splashes of color and then transitioning into full color about halfway through the movie. The story is original and well told and kept me engaged all the way to the end. I'll definitely be watching it again. Hopefully it gets a wider audience so more people get to see this movie.

Cecelia Milano is the lead here and she is the main reason for my positive rating. The story is a bit scattered in structure but Milano is so good that I forgive the overlong production. A 12 year-old girl is the only human with the ability to see colors and is pursued by bad people. Two men take her on a road trip throughout Uruguay which has some spectacular scenery. The cinematography is awesome. The young actress carries Grey Eyes and makes it worth a viewing.

It's not a bad film, some plot holes and scenes that didn't make sense, but I didn't hate it. Subtitles.
