This anime series opens with the introduction of our seven protagonists; they are only high school students but each is at the very top in their field of expertise; politics, economics, medicine, science, magic, sword-play and a journalist with ninja skills. One day they are on a plane together and it crashes. They are the only survivors but they soon discover that they are nowhere on Earth; they are in Freyjagard. There is no modern technology here, it is more like the middle ages, but there is magic and mythical beings; including the Byuma who have animal features and great strength but are otherwise like humans. They are rescued by Byuma from a small village and when they learn that these people, and most others in the kingdom live under an oppressive feudal regime they determine to use their expertise to introduce democracy... of course the current leaders will fight back; and some of them are very powerful.
I enjoyed this series although I suspect it is one of those that will soon be forgotten after it is over. The genre of having people somehow transported fantasy worlds has got somewhat overcrowded in recent years so it must be difficult coming up with new twists. Having protagonists that are all top of their fields means that at times the show feels like 'Star Trek: TNG... but where the main characters were all Wesley Crusher!' Thankfully this show never takes itself too seriously so that is less of a problem... even so my favourite characters came from amongst the Byuma. The animation is solid and the story provides some good exciting moments. The ending feels more like the end of a chapter rather than the end of the story... I have no idea whether there is more to come or merely that the manga is ongoing and that is as far as it got when the anime was made. Overall I'd say this isn't a must see but it does pass the time nicely if you are a fan of the genre.

We have attempts to create characters, not all of them effective, well-formed and poorly formed plots and strategies, analogies with our own social problems but many skills outside the human sphere.
It is worth watching, but with possible disappointments.

I'll give "High School Prodigies" one thing, all of the protagonists were effectively god-like before transitioning worlds which was a nice change. However even starting with god like intellect and physical abilities they still managed to not take over their new world in a single season.
The show shoehorned in just about as many tropes as possible, some worked and others didn't. Characters, protagonist and secondary characters/NPC's, were "flat" and not easy to connect with. Plot points were often completely unbelievable (even for an Isekai), the best example was the item salvaged from the plane wreck. Finally the overall story was very weak and the kids could have been completely handled by the ruling government with a few well placed assassins.

Cons:

Pros:
- English Dubbing.
- Consistent animation.
- Unusual tactic of god-like protagonists BEFORE transitioning worlds.
Cons:
- Excessive "Fan-Service".
- Predictable.
- Characters are one dimensional.
- A few of the characters are a bit ridiculous (worlds best magician) and just seemed over the top.

As for the first season (that's only out now) it's pretty good and seems promising. Though for me it wasn't that interesting, feels like a pro-longed prologue. There was at lot of change in scenery but almost none in character development.
I'd still recommend to watch this even though the first season doesn't have a conclusion, just a tease of what will be held in the future. Also it's pretty decent overall and has an interesting general idea.

If you like your OP heroes to just pull a tank out of thin air and attack (no, this hasn't happened up to the point I gave up), this anime may be for you. I don't mean they do this in a humorous way, but more of a matter of fact, "of course we can" way. I've watched a lot of OP isekai anime but even this was more than I could bear.
These are not high school students. Just that age (or maybe the writers meant they were prodigies back when they were in high school). At no point do any of these ridiculous characters have anything to do with high school.

The premise is honestly interesting but that gets ruined by seeing these bland characters on screen. This is probably one of the worst animes that I've ever seen! The seven prodigies aren't relatable or likable and each scene just drags on. The only interesting thing is the theme song. I would prefer it that the show just remains cancelled or doesn't get picked up for another season. Because I'd rather watch something that at least has a touching story or good comedy like Fruit Baskets, or Ouran High School Host Club. Those shows don't always have a lot going on but have memorable characters and moments in the story. High School Prodigies Have It Easy In Another World isn't worth anyone's time!
Its really a great series to watch Author gives a right though to the plot if people can understand that. Its not like normal anime series which mostly based on magic and magic alone its the perfect combination of magic, science and advance Politics and warfare
At last best series I ever watched. Its my point of view don't know about others.
Thank You.

I am literally shocked for the rating.only 6.2 seriously??The storyline is good, all characters are good in their respective places,no unnecessary dialogue or scene. This series has potential.i mean if it had good response from the viewer, may the creators would have go for 2nd season, but i see no hope there. This is literally discrimination. The battle scenes should have more detailing and more ferocious.still it not bad at all. And there is barely any funny scenes there. Still i didn't bored at all in any scene in the anime. But it would have been great if they would have add some funny scenes and the detailing of battle scenes more properly. Still this show is worth watching. Dont go on its rating and watch it.

I don't think the storyline is bad. It's pretty fun and can be entertaining, although some villains are simple to guess. But that's not weird at all. It's a good and fun anime. For those who are not serious
This is just my opinion only.

The 7 prodigy summoned in another world. The summoned heroes help them from unfair monarch rule and try to bring democracy. Story is good. Characters are professionals. Interesting story.
