I started watching this because it had an 8.9 rating on some 1600 reviews. I really like sci-fi, fantasy series and I am willing to put up with a lot. This series lacks a lot in production value, it reminds me of the 7th Voyage of Sinbad, shot in 1959, which I loved when I was 10!
I have only watched one episode and I really don't know what is going on, the plot is cut up and there seems to be no continuity from scene to scene. Add to that, the sound quality really sucks! There is a lot of dialogue that is unintelligible.
The acting is still rough and I would blame that on the director, who is not getting the most from the actors. The actors do not seem to be in sync with each other, like they are reading their lines from a teleprompter, delivering their lines independent from each other.
I cannot recommend watching this even though the story might be good, and the locations are pretty good, and the actors are all very pretty, but it just does not hold together.

Gave it til half way throughepisode 2 and gave up. Episode 1 was mainly confusing. There was obvious info dumping but you couldn't understand what the actor was saying.
Poor acting, writing & directing.
2 stars for interesting concept and attempted world building.

Poor acting and terrible sound quality.
I watched this on Amazon Prime and even though it's in English, I had to turn on subtitles to understand what was being said.
Not really worth watching.
Not really worth watching.
I don't ever write reviews, but I needed to on this show so others don't get tricked into watching it like I was. I was excited to watch because it had an 8.9 rating and I LOVE shows like the premise of this one. I thought this was going to be a really great show. I usually enjoy most shows for what they are, entertainment. I don't like to pick them apart. Even though thats what I am about to do here. Even other shows that people don't like, I do, because I am not too hard to please when it comes to my TV shows. But this.......this was HORRIBLE! I don't even know what happened in the 1st episode. They first of all didn't explain anything other than you knew there was chaos happening, but you didn't know who was doing it or why it was happening. You didn't know who was who, where they were in the scenes except in the beginning when they specifically said Tokyo. I don't even know if the first two characters are good or bad or what that whole scene was about. Other than that, you don't know if you were on earth, in hell or purgatory or some place in Tenbucktwo. It wasn't clearly laid out and felt VERY disjointed. You couldn't understand what they were saying (had to put on CC) and it still didn't make sense. Danny Trejo (much love and respect for him) but this was just a bad project for him. It would have been a better project, if the creator and director knew what they were doing. The camera was shaking, you could see the shadow of the crew moving in the background, the actors didn't feed off one another, so it just wasn't good. It felt forced. I have much more to say, but I don't want to have spoilers in my review, so people will actually read it. Now, believe me, I'm not an expert in the entertainment business and it is hard to find something that I don't like, but this was just bad all the way around. Please, don't be fooled by the 8.9 rating. I personally think that the creator, who reviewed himself here and gave himself a 10 has something to do with the high rating. Run, don't walk, away from this show!

Planted reviews giving 10 stars.
I urge anyone who actually tried to stomach the first episode to give this a true rating. To bad we can't give this negative stars, truly awful show.

I have just a few questions...
Was this farce shot entirely with an iPhone 6?
Why does it appear that every scene was done in 1 take and on low battery?
How did they sucker Danny Trejo into reading the "script" out loud? (And how does he feel about going from the "B" list to a solid F?)
Are the friends and family who left every one of the positive reviews aware of the dangers of enabling, and that bad acting is not a victimless crime?

I know that this website has a LOT of fake and stacked reviews, but the budget/fighting in this movie is so fake it's pathetic. I think I could make a better movie in my back yard. Is that what this director did?

Doesn't draw you in. The writing, acting, sound design, lighting, camera work, editing and sets feel like a college project.
Thank you for purchasing our show! Thank you for letting those who enjoy the show to enjoy and review - we all have our opinions, even if you hated this show. I wrote this when I was in middle school and there are so many ideas I can't wait to explore if given the opportunity. Thank you for your time and energy. I am so proud of this show-Justin Price(creator)

First episode is clearly the best and I think it shows a lot about where I thought this would go. Congrats to you guys it was a lot of fun and defintely different. It reminded me of a CW show -- like the Flash --

Seriously.... I see some reviews of how good this tv series is but can't figure out what they thought was good about it. It was truly awful especially the acting! Other horrible things; the script and the special effects!!! It wouldn't have been so bad if they had pieced the episodes together to where you can follow along but they left out A LOT!! I'm a movie/tv buff and I'll pretty much watch anything and not complain.... but this was so terribly put together and lacked the last 10 finishing proofs... I seriously can't believe they put this out for people to actually watch.. I guess to show actors what not to do and which directors to not work with.

The only positive reviews of this show were submitted by (I assume) the creators on 22 December 2020 - 2 weeks before it was available for viewing. This does not, in any way, merit even one star, much less 8.8!

It seemed like a cool concept, but very difficult to follow. Everything appears very disjointed and the acting is awful. The dialogue really does feel like the actors are reading their lines (and poorly) very staccato.
Feels like the final project from a first year film student who somehow convinced Danny Trejo to sign on to this amateur hour hack job. Sat through the entire first episode wildly confused as to when the plot would start, only to have the credits roll before I was even sure who I was supposed to be rooting for. The script feels like it was written by an AI a few circuits short of a board and fed nothing but rejected supernatural storylines and preteen wet dreams.
When Danny Trejo is the best actor in your show you should reconsider what you have done. Can I get the last half hour of my life back please?

Absolutely horrible, in every sense, in every category. Total waste of time. I could have made a better show in my garage, with paper mache props, and with a cast of homeless derelicts. This review doesn't contain spoilers because it would be impossible to spoil something this bad.
C'mon people. 8.3 rating? Someone paid money to get this rating on this pos show. Absolutely awful. Dumb and confusing story. Acting is just horrendous. Avoid like the plague.

I struggled to get through the 1st episode. Now I don't know why I bothered. It is so bad in so many ways. The writing is terrible. The blocking is terrible. The acting is beyond terrible for the most part.

Danny Trejo in a SciFi show sounds intriguing as is but this series really delivers with a great time, interesting characters and plot and awesome action.
Never got boring and after intending to watch just the first episode I found myself looking up 6 hours later staring at the final end credits of the season and was still ready for more.
Beautiful frames and they shot in really cool locations I now want to explore when this lock-down ends. 100% recommend it, made my day fly by and took me to some super cool places! So worth it. Can't wait for season 2.

The caption is essentially my review. What can go wrong? Not much did, I found it overall very enjoyable and nice to see Danny Trejo in a meaty character delivering more monologues than I have ever seen him do so far. Seems to be a young production team and to that hats off, this could not have been easy to pull off but they managed to do so. Respect and thanks for the fun times watching this has brought me. Hope there will be future seasons.

Seems like a good plot, but the horrible writing and poor delivery of those lines makes this difficult to watch. Other than Danny Trejo I think the producers/directors just asked their freinds to be in the movie and those with nothing better to do joined in.
I am guessing they paid for their early high reviews. This will be a 5 rating within a month.
