When the character Ronnie says "And the taxman's shouting cause he wants his dough" is taken from the lyrics of the Jam's song "Burning Sky" from the Setting Sons album.
At one point, John is mocked and referred to as Liam Gallagher. Actress Patsy Kensit, who plays Sonia, was once married to the singer of Oasis , and now solo artist, Liam Gallagher.
