A simple, but heartwarming stop-motion tale about overcoming grief, taking place in a world of anthropomorphized dogs.<br/><br/>Honestly, what captured my attention first here (Besides of the very nicely done animation) was the strange detail of the main character owning a dog as a pet, despite being a dog himself; however, such element is ultimately irrelevant to the story, being basically the same situation of Goofy and Pluto in Disney cartoons.<br/><br/>The plot is basically a slice-of-life tale of dealing with the loss of a beloved relative, which could have been easily done in live-action, but it&#39;s an enjoyable watching experience anyway.

I love it for the simplicity of story, for the texture of characters and candle light, for the music, for the wise - touching portrait of emotion, for unrealistic owner and for his white dog, for te levels of the trip and for the end. For the childish drawing - pictures, for the house, for the tears of Archie. And for the admirable way to remind viewer presumtive experiences. So, just magnificent. I love it !
