In one scene in the film, the Timpview High School sign is changed, photoshopped, and renamed TAFT.
Much of this movie was filmed on location in Provo, Utah, on Center Street, University Avenue, at the Provo Courthouse, and at Timpview High School, and also in Heber City, Utah, at the Heber Valley Railroad station.
The location is supposed to be Vermont. However, this fact has little impact on the story, and the dust, mountains, and all locations are obviously western states (filmed in Utah).
Aired as the second of three original films in The Hallmark Channel's 2019 "Fall Harvest" lineup, the smallest amount of original films since the lineup's inception.
This is not the first time Trevor Donovan and Drew Fuller worked together. The first time was in Love Finds You in Charm (2015)
