This short film is definitely not one for the kids, as the main character is a very crude and obnoxious film producer--so obnoxious and mean that his language is quite "colorful" to say the least. However, this is all in keeping with the sort of sociopathic guy he is supposed to be--a truly awful and soul-less scumbag who is about to enter the afterlife. Once there, he learns that everyone's life is made into a promo--and if it pleases God, they get to go to Heaven. Well, he's a tricky ex-producer and manages to get a bit of a reprieve--so he can go back to Earth and undo his evil ways. And, at least for a while, he's sweet and caring. However, a build up of rage and evil can't stay bottled up for long. Can he manage to avoid being cruel and nasty or is he destined for the highway to Hell?
While the theology behind the film is quite suspect, it is very funny and engaging--especially for an independent short. Clever writing and acting make this a funny little guilty pleasure.
