I think the actors did a great job here in bringing home the horror of abuse. The film making wasn't up to the standard I was expecting. Editing and directing was quite poor and the audio wasn't good at all. However, the lead actors made up for it with a fantastic performance from Sean. He is the star for sure. His Mother and sisters put in great performances too. Also thought Sean's friend - the black guy, sorry I can't remember his character name - he was brilliant too. The film could have been improved by just being both 'tighter' and shorter'. It's a common mistake when making a film such as this to let it go on just a bit too long. Worth watching though as it will give you an insight into the complications surrounding abuse.

Trauma has many ways of affecting people: hyperventilation, emotional scars, nightmares, night terrors, etc. This film particularly has shown moments of trauma. I myself know the feeling of trauma. Nevertheless, this is a great movie. I think it teaches us to be careful who we like, trust, or hang out with. One can never be too cautious. It also has a lesson about honesty. It's very important to be open about certain things. If something is really bothering somebody, they need to talk to someone. I should know. I may have a hard time talking to people sometimes, but I try my best. Long story short, Moving Forward Films did a good job. For those who say otherwise: lay off. I really like Chris Brian! He's my friend and a brilliant actor and singer. He never ceases to make me smile.

I came across this on Amazon and thought I would give it a shot. It's very low budget and most likely a college student produced movie. The acting is well let's just say the actors might not have a very bright future ahead of them.
If we forgot about the acting in this and somewhat ropey script that seems to have been used the story itself is actually pretty good. A few bits definitely have gone too far. I think had a really good director got this into their hands with a good budget the film would score much higher. Infact I think personally I might have made a better go at this and I'm not even qualified for that. At least I made it right to the end of the movie.

This movie I had hoped would be much better there was some terrible acting from most of the actors , the only decent actor was the one that played Eric who seemed to be authentic in his role . The cinematography was abysmal and shaky and it looked amateurish, the All American boy that was cast didn't feel like the prom king basketball type and was cast incorrectly and he didn't play the lead role well at all- very bad acting, could hardly hear the mother at times the sound was terrible , felt worse than a home made movie , also the storyline was unrealistic. Worst movie I've seen in years. Not for me.
