The parable between a child and what they can become as adults - particularly with regards to sexism and gender bias - are explored beautifully in this short. And even though it's not overly preachy or subtle, it is direct in a most pleasing way. The cinematography - particularly the framing of the shots - were a joy to watch, and above all - the acting and the background score come together poetically to expound on the virtues and parallels between women and the birds - and kings and the young ones. It premiered on YouTube during the We Are One festival on the 2nd of June, and is absolutely worth watching when it's officially released to the public.
More than describing the permanence of domestic abuse, misogyny, and patriarchy in familial circles, Natkhat (The Brat) reinforces the idea of a possible solution against the social menace created by those everyday elements that effective child rearing at home is where you begin the real education, and thanks to its breezy narration, effervescent performances (mainly by the child actors), and a strong score the message comes out pretty well. TN.

It's a masterpiece you can't deny the fact that it's all dependent on parents to teach their children about good and bad but in a perfect manner(which parents only know) likewise in the film.
Starcast is really brillant and what an actor Vidya ji is she is the Star that spark on her eyes as mother looks same as the child is of her own. Only one thing to add if you see your child misbehaving with a girl at whatever age please make them learn what respect they are they are needed to be give!!

Natkhat (Short film) :
A Masterpiece Crafting of an immensely important yet sensitive subject that will leave you spellbounded. One of the finest storytelling I've seen recently. A half-an-hour into two sensational parallel worlds, fairytale and realistic, that will teach you a lot about life, love, equality, god's creations and humanity. Vidya Balan is impeccable throughout the runtime and thst child Sanika Patel is utterly natural. Overall, Natkhat is a Must Watch for every kid, every mother, every father and every single creature who is part of the society since forever.

Softly delivering such an important message. Modern cinema should be as powerful as this one. Kudos to the makers.
