I appreciate this drama with it's storyline and amazing cast. The theme of the drama which is "the best friends" is amazing as we can't able to see such beautiful stories and such topics now days. But, mocking thing in ending part of the series makes it ugly no doubt. Such a beautiful story with such useless ending. Come-on man I'm Indian and I really like to appreciate Pakistani dramas as because they have good stories rather than those kind of Saas-Bahu dramas but this drama made me sad with that mocking ending part. Respect solders whether it's Pakistani or Indian. Although, I like the story of all four friends. Good start but with bad ending.

Ehd-e-wafa is one of those serials whuch due to their high production quality take the audience by storm anf after it develops everyone's interest, it loses the point but as everyone watched it with great interest now it becomes infeasible to leave the series at that point.... so ratings stay afloat till the end.
The series didn't start off with a bang rather it took its time to develop (more on that later) all the arcs and then went from strength to strength due to its entertainment values but then it starts limping because the story was not developed properly rather it seemed like they were developing the story with each episode..
The writing of the play is good enough just because the series is a relief from wacky and saas bahu plots the audience is used to seeing in the past few years. However it is the main aspect of the story which lacks complete development, i-e friendship. The series never explores the characters' friendship in depth rather it handles it on a superfacial manner and the conflict arrives too soon but you get past it since it is being asserted that their friendship was something next level but it wasn't, and the serial remains thoroughly entertaining. The second flaw was despite having a fine screenplay, it was the story which didn't know where it was headed.. However on the whole the screenplay was commendable not just because it was a relief but also it expands its hofizons past army and focuses into all the lives at the centre.. Had the story been treated with some attention to detail, it would have been the script of the year..
The direction was brilliant.. Saif e hassan is surely a brilliant director and created a name for himself after Sang e marmar, Sammi and now ehd e wafa.
The acting was spot on and Zara Noor Abbas as Raani stole the show despite her track contributing less than its screentime to the story... However Osman Khalid's portrayal leaves alot to be desired.. Rather than playing the character with nuance and insight, it came off as a caricature and extremely vile and black.. what should have been a grey character...
Watch it for the relief and some amazing performances and tight direction. Despite the flaws you will not regret.

Some people misunderstand it's story and compare it with Alpha Bravo Charlie. It is not the continuation of ABC. Only 1 character is taken from ABC and it's story is based on today's generation that came after the generation of ABC. And I believe it is wrong to compare it with ABC as ABC was produced during the golden era of PTV. Today's entertainment level has gone down to such a low extent. In todays dramas this is something out of the box. LOVE of COUNTRY is beautifully picturized. We need more dramas that show patriotism.
This was my first pakistani drama i ever watched and guess what!this is the best drama till in my life i loved this ehd e wafa drama most....hope the directors make more like this!!

It was my first Pakistani drama series. It's just more than a drama. What a acting , everyone is perfect Specially Ahad Raza Mir , Alizeh Shah. I found best .
Love of love from BD 🇧🇩
Every character of this drama serial "Ehd-e-Wafa" has been done fabulous job. This story shows real faces of our society. Many thanks to ISPR and Momina.
The only message this ISPR drama seems to vomit on it's viewers is: all institutions including police, lawyers, doctors are corrupt and the only thing saving this country from certain destruction is our holy army.

Since the serial is partially produced by ISPR, I was expecting something similar to the iconic ISPR serial of the 90s, the ABC. Overall Ehd-e-Wafa is a good addition to inject the love among the Youth for the country's Military Organization, but the serial fails to impress on many fronts. The storyline is mediocre, the dialogue are not so concrete, a few hiccups in the direction are also imminent. However, in an era where good Pakistani serials are a rarity, Ehd-e-Wafa is worth a watch.

So after watching the trailer for this show, I had high hopes for it and that it would feature some military action and some PMA scenes but I wasn't disappointed but I wasn't happy either. The story is barely covering the episodes which results in them adding unnecessary things. Why can't Pakistani shows have 8-10 episodes like the rest of the world now. Also they sometimes relied too heavily on the romantic aspect which was boring for me. The acting is okay, not great but not bad either. The pacing of the show sometimes goes too slow and it would have benefited from a smaller season as mentioned earlier.

Edit: After Last episode Thank God, they changed the predicted end story. Overall the drama was good in terms of emotions and lessons but not so good at acting. In the last episode, they tried to cover all topics like war, peace, Kaboshan, Abhi Nandan, Kartarpur, election etc A big thanks to the makers for giving us a happy ending and spreading a good message about friendship, unity, patriotism, equality and love. This drama will always remain close to us because of many reasons, one of them is Gulzar. This was my third drama whose IMDB page and listing are created by me after Alif and Mere Pass Tum Ho. I wouldn't say this drama was outstanding but the messages were so outstanding. They showed women in a very strong and dignified way. ISPR did well but kuch to chupaya he ;)
Friends are the family you choose. So choose wisely.

This is the story which needs to be adapted in every country in every language. "Tehzeeb" isse acha kahi dekha shayad hi hoga maine aaj tak. Our whole family watched it together because of its utter simplicity (That Tehzeeb) and everyone loved the best ever acting performances which made it feel as if we are watching a secret shot documentary. Story which binds everyone. Perfect direction. Perfect shots.
Yes some parts could have been elaborated more, as utne me mann nahi bhar raha tha apna <3 Extremely eager to watch the season 2
PS : We are from India; still we loved it because of no deliberate extremism or negativity shown towards the other countries to show "Pakistan" in the good spot. We just love such peaceful, binding story that has tried to provide solution to each and every minute detail in a life. Love from India. <3 Kaash India Pakistan ek desh rehta hamesha : "Bhaarat"

I was tired of watching those typical Pakistani House-themed romantic but bad and boring dramas but, finally this one is on a different subject.
Educative, Different, Romance and Friendship at the same time.
Best cast of young actors and actresses. Beautiful couples and interesting characters.
A Great Combination of Everything!

Many great life lessons are there. It's a must watching Drama. Ehd-e-Wafa is a portrayal of life. I have realised how faith, unity and discipline can help us to reach our goals.
All the important characters of this drama give a very important message for any people. Specially, the way Saad's father handled Saad and Saad's mother counselled her son, the way Dua's father trusted her, the way Saad, Dua, Shehriar controlled their emotions, the way all the boys fulfilled their goals, the way friendship is represented and many things that have been portrayed create a very positive vibe among the youngsters. Nowadays, people like to watch thrillers, action movies but these types of educative shows are required to remove the darkness of the modern world.
The drama enjoys a unique setting and comes with huge expectations. While some characters are a stand out others are not so impressive.
Although many episodes of the drama have gone by the story doesn't seem to pick up. Theres a alot of things happening but nothing concrete or focused which i think is the major reason for the drama series to miss its mark.
When you go with the ISPR co-production people expect more army stuff more than just one of the storylines.
Malik Shahzain storyline is mundane and typical to any other drama series out there. Although zara noor makes parts of it lighten up.
The other two storylines are just too uneventful that it seems that the characters have not been worked upon much.
In short there is alot going on but it could have been improved much more with better and more focused storyline.
Till date, I've watched all the episodes and i think story line is good. Alpha Bravo Charlie was one of the best by ISPR and now this one. Ehd e Wafa is a drama about friendship just like ABC but this time it starts from a boarding school of Murree where four boys, famous for their mischievous acts were expelled from college.
