The ghost is a gimmick and special effects meager in this well-acted Stormy Daniels old-fashioned suspense feature for Wicked Passions.
Censored cable-tv softcore version runs nearly as long as the full-length XXX DVD, thanks to plenty of coverage footage during the sex scenes.
Chanel Preston is fine as the damsel in peril, mourning after the supposedly accidental death of her husband Ryan McLane, with the audience clearly aware of foul play.
She is helped by Ryan as a ghost, who is generally invisible, intervening with poltergeist pranks. A subplot involving Chanel's stepdaughter is effective, and uncredited guest star Kylie Ireland provides plenty of fun in her scene as a spirit medium.
Sentimental ending is rather clutzy, but the show plays well up to that point.
