The drow, as a species, was invented by D&d creator Gary Gygax, but Salvatore popularized them as playable characters through his legendary books. Sherlock Holmes is returning to the small screen with a new iteration of the detective in Sherlock & Daughter, where the series has the perfect opportunity to correct Sherlock's infamous Eurus story from season 4. The new Sherlock Holmes adaptation confirmed at the CW will put a decisive spin on the chronicles of Holmes by introducing Amelia (Blu Hunt) who believes the detective may be her long-lost father. Interestingly, the huge diversion from Arthur Conan Doyle's canon may be exactly what the franchise needs to revive interest after a growing list of problems finally killed BBC's Sherlock.

The BBC series concluded the detective's story in 2017, but Sherlock's final season was poorly received by audiences, leading to many fans being relieved that the BBC's Sherlock might never be revived. Many of the season's shortcomings were a consequence of the addition of Eurus (Sian Brooke), whose introduction was deemed too far-fetched.

Angelina Pivarnick is best known to fans for appearing on the first two seasons of Jersey Shore. The TV personality recently shared the loss of a loved one in a recent post. Fans, in turn, have been sharing their condolences with the reality star.

Slash has been creating music for Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights “Universal Monsters” haunted house for the past six years, and now the legendary guitarist has released those compositions as an 11-song soundtrack.

The limited edition vinyl, titled Music of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights, is being sold onsite at Universal Studios Hollywood from September 5th through November 3rd, with 300 of the copies hand-signed by Slash. A run of 100 were made available via the Deko Entertainment online shop, but immediately sold out.

“As a longtime fan of horror movies and of ‘Halloween Horror Nights,’ I jumped at the chance to once again collaborate with Universal Studios Hollywood to produce a soundtrack for the Universal Monsters haunted house,” stated Slash. “Similar to the way music affects a film, I composed this score for the legions of infamous characters in these haunted houses to elicit a sense of emotional terror.”

Exclusive: Oscar winner Sissy Spacek (Carrie) and three-time Oscar nominee Nick Nolte (The Thin Red Line) have been tapped for roles in Die, My Love, Lynne Ramsay’s thriller based on the 2017 novel by Ariana Harwicz.

Details as to the duo’s roles are under wraps. The project reunites Spacek and Nolte following their work together on Affliction, the 1997 crime drama written and directed by Paul Schrader. As previously announced, Jennifer Lawerence, Robert Pattinson and Lakeith Stanfield will also star.

Set in a remote forgotten rural area, the story follows a mother (Lawrence) who struggles to maintain her sanity as she battles with psychosis. Pattinson will be playing her husband, and Stanfield, her lover.

Ramsay is directing from her script written with Enda Walsh. Producers on the project include Justine Ciarrocchi and Lawerence on behalf of Excellent Cadaver, as well as Martin Scorsese and Andrea Calderwood. Black Label Media is financing.
