Lokesh Kanagaraj is one of the most successful filmmakers in Tamil cinema. He is known for starting the cinematic universe trend. His next film is Coolie, starring Superstar Rajinikanth. He confirmed that Coolie is a standalone film with no ties to the Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe (Lcu). However, he announced that his next film will be Kaithi 2.

“The opening is strong and is now in the structure phase. The universe has only three films, while the others are standalone. The fourth film will set the foundation, the fifth will build on it, the sixth will serve as the pre-climax, and the seventh or eighth will conclude the series,” he explained.

“My next film after Coolie will be Kaithi 2, and then I plan to make a standalone film called Rolex.

Karthi, the versatile actor who impressed the audience with his performance in Kaithi, has revealed some exciting details about the sequel of the blockbuster film. In a recent interview, Karthi confirmed that Kaithi 2 is on the cards and that he has already discussed the idea with director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

“Kaithi 2 is definitely happening. We have planned for it and Lokesh has a very interesting idea for the sequel. But we are not sure about the timeline of the movie. It depends on when Lokesh will be free from his other commitments and when I will be available. We don’t want to rush it and compromise on the quality,” Karthi said.

Leo is a gangster drama film that marks the second collaboration of Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after the blockbuster Master (2021)

The film also features Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan and Mysskin in pivotal roles. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing by Philomin Raj. The film is produced by S. S.
