- TriviaOn the 16th of November, 2019, Tim Whitrow, had flown to set in his small airplane to assist with catering for the day and when he left, was only air-bound for a few seconds before the plane crashed at 160 km per hour approximately 100 meters from the set. Members of the crew including his brother (James Whitrow), nephew (Alexander Whitrow) and mother (Sue Whitrow) ran to the wreck, already believing he was dead. He was found in the wreckage barely clinging to life. The crew removed him from the aircraft and kept him breathing until the ambulances arrived. Tim was taken to the Riverland General Hospital where he was then flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH). Tim broke twelve ribs and his sternum, had his hear bruised and lost one of his feet as a result of his injuries. He was in the intensive care unit at the RAH for several days but otherwise made a full recovery.

The first half of this movie is mind numbing. The plot drags and most of the scenes feel like pointless filler. If it was up to me the first half would be condensed to 15 minutes. I would have stopped the movie had I not been at the cinema. We decided to stick it out and it did pick up. Things started to get interesting enough that the acting and dialogue didn't get in the way of the intrigue. The ending (the last 5 minutes or so) however really disappointed. It was frustrating and the exciting drama from moments before fell apart.
I don't regret going to see the movie. It had a great sequence using clever shots to hide information and interesting uses of showing where events took place in the timeline. There were a few points that genuinely felt like great film but that just made the rest of the point all the more disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this movie but I would be interested in seeing the director's future work. The plot isn't anything new but the directing does put some life into it and there was enough to keep me curious about what would happen.
So maybe don't run to see this but keep an open mind for what may come next!
