I had a lot of expectations from this film, especially after watching its trailer which promised something mystical & unique. However it turns out to be another decent thriller film with a rather unconvincing climax.
The story of this film revolves around a popular TV host, Sheelam working as a myth buster of ghosts. He starts preparation for his 100th episode, dealing with tremendous pressure due to the work chaos, TRP scramble and relationship complications. On top of all this he is badgered by a disturbed man who challenges him to do his show at his choice of haunted house. How exactly Sheelam deals with this situation forms the rest of the plot.
The screenplay is quite captivating and the light-yellow tinted cinematography at some places, adds a tinge of mystery to it. The plot unfolds in a hypnotic manner and keeps you hooked to the screen in most of the scenes. The BGM is also decently done giving the essential thrills.
However as the ending nears, the story starts to become less interesting with some sloppy graphics and camera work, eventually giving out a climax which won't convince you.
The casting is good with Atul Kulkarni, Pawan Kumar, B Suresha and Sangeeta Bhat giving out wonderful performances. The lead character played by Ashu Bedra is also impressive, though in some scenes there could have been some more genuine display of emotions.
Overall, this movie is a decent watch and won't disappoint for a one time watch if you are a thriller movie buff.
