The animals used in this film were in no way mistreated and all scenes in which they appeared were under strict supervision with the utmost concern for their handling and in no way mistreated, kicked or sold to Chinese restaurants.
Most of the characters who were taken care of by Toni Ricardelli survived the shooting unscathed. At least, they did not suffer from anything that a couple of drinks could not fix.
