"Son of a Rich" is a Comedy movie in which we watch a spoiled young man thinking that he is above law when suddenly finding himself on a 19th century village as a simple peasant. He has to understand what happened and from the 21st century found himself on the 19th century.
I found this movie very interesting and it contained plenty of humorous scenes that made me laugh. In addition to this, it has to be mentioned that the direction which was made by Klim Shipenko was very good and he succeeded on presenting his main character very well, something that made the audience easy to relate to him and follow him on this adventure. The interpretations of Milos Bikovic who played as Grisha, Aleksandra Bortich who played as Liza and Sergey Sotserdotskiy who played as Proshka were good. To sum up, I have to say that "Son of a Rich" is an entertaining movie and I recommend you to spend your time with it.

Since I can not relate to the main character or rather how he is portrayed in the beginning, I can't tell you how you will feel about him, if you see yourself in him. Who am I to say you need an intervention? Exactly ... only you or a loved one of yours can say ... and do that.
Now the poster showed me a pic that threw me off when the movie began. It looked like the movie was playing in the past, so I was a bit clueless as to what was going on. But I was immediately sucked into the movie, by the main character ... because of how despicable he behaves and acts around other humans. Total disregard for any of their feelings, very self centred and egotistical ... blaming his father more or less for it. We never really get much into that ... but even if there is truth to that, his father cares ... a lot.
So much, that he does that intervention I mentioned earlier. And it brings his son in touch with his feelings ... and it really grounds him. It is a bit like a Jim Carrey movie ... if you've seen you'll figure out which one I mean, mood wise. All very well played - and while we can guess where the movie is heading (as in predictable), it is the enjoyable journey to that finish line that makes this as entertaining as it is.

There isn't like that thing wouldn't happen in real life. Just love the concept and story. So i gave 8. (It's just comment to save for me, why it requires that much longer text....)

I didn't like the film because of the bad camera work, unfunny jokes and bad acting that is justified by the stupidity of Gregory

One of the best movies I have recently seen. It's uplifting, full of funny moments and very friendly. Great Russian actors that performed their roles . Amazing Russian actors that performed their characters with passion. If you want to watch something that is relaxing and funny then differently this is the movie to watch.

When viewing this talentless piece of garbage I had the idea to look at its rating and how I was surprised to see a rating higher than 1, so I'm here to express all my hatred, thank you very much.
Let's start with the fact that I am from Russia, and this is my first review of the film on this website.
So my conclusion follows: if you want to look at the vomit of a dumb screenwriter, seasoned with the disgusting work of cameramen and editors, terrible actors, this is a great choice to spend a hideous evening. Absolutely everything from musical accompaniment to a marketing campaign causes gagging. Every element exists for the sake of money laundering of honest taxpayers, or is there another reason? I'm not sure that this "piece of art" was produced with the support of the "Russian Cinema Fund", but this clearly provokes such assumptions, based on the costs and revenues of Russian modern cinema. So I hope that with God's help I will protect the viewer's hardened eye from watching this complete trash. The people who participated in making this film, please do not multiply. The world will be a better place without your offspring.
Considering the fact that Grisha is quite naive and simple-minded, the movie develops into a pretty enough and pleasant picture.
I am glad that I watched this movie, a movie about simple things, light and original. It seemed to me even the actors themselves were pleased to play it, there was a feeling that they were aware of what a good deed they were doing.
I advise everyone to watch this magnificent movie, and from me it gets a well-deserved 9 points!

The conclusion of Gregory in 1860 for him should be a consequence and not a cause. So a person cannot be re-educated. Imagine, every day some dude comes to you with a whip and leaves. And you are: "WHAT HAPPENS HERE ?!" But in fact, he beats you for your sins, but you do not know this

If you want to learn something feel free to watch this movie.
And of course look at the best Serbian actor Milos Bikovic currently.
It's a feels good film. It doesn't have the best acting, nor a good plot... It's a funny redemption movie for when you feel down.

The film "The Slave" by Klim Shipenko. In short, the film rolls out about the re-education of a major who was allegedly sent to the past. I liked the plot and the scenery. An easy and funny comedy with meaning. Great cast: Alexander Samoylenko, Ivan Okhlobystin, etc. Milos is very suitable for the main role. I enjoyed watching it.
I definitely recommend it for viewing. One of the few Russian films that are really worth watching!!! Laughed from and to!
