As with many Hanna-Barbera shows of the time, Posse Impossible was a regular segment of the anthology series C B Bears (1977). Other segments were: "C B Bears"; Blast-Off Buzzard (1977); Heyyy, It's the King! (1977); Shake, Rattle and Roll (1977); and Undercover Elephant (1977). Each cartoon riffed on a popular television show or film - for example, Undercover Elephant parodied "Mission: Impossible".
