- TriviaThe actual Herstatt Family who were involved in the devices speculations of the Herstatt-Bank in 1974 distance themselves publicly from the portrayal of Iwan Herstatt in the movie. Herstatts sons Johann David and Cornelius criticized the portrayal of their Father as a bank boss who kept dozing off despite him being very healthy at that time. Also they called the portrayal of Herstatt's chief secretary as "absurd".
