This film pretty much gets everything wrong. As a film that is trying to make its share from the popularity of the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast and Fierce shows a complete lack of understanding of what makes Fast and Furious so popular and successful.
The writing is shocking. At times it even dips into the same territory as The Room but in a way that is embarrassing than endearing.
The acting isn't very good either, it gives the impression that all the actors are amateurs and that this is their first time acting, and whoever directed the film chose their first takes of every scene they did.
What makes Fast and Furious so exciting to watch is that the films, during the races, are very visually stylized. In Fast and Fierce, we have shaky cam, fast editing that sometimes breaks continuity, and shots of actors who don't look like they know what they are supposed to be reacting to.
I draw comparisons to Fast and the Furious, not only because of its alternative title Fast and Fierce, but also because they even use the line "I live life a quarter mile at a time" so it's begging for the comparison. The film ends with a weird interjection that is out of place and in a situation that does not really give much resolution to anything.
The romance is forced and so cliche that the film would have been better off without it.
I didn't have high expectations for this film and, indeed, it lived up to those quite low expectations. This is easily the kind of film you can enjoy with friends if you all enjoy watching cheaply made, imitations of big budget Hollywood films. There is entertainment value with this, but it's better with friends. Not so bad it's good, but it's campy, hammy, and corny enough for a bad movie night.

Horrible story (is there a story?) The acting is pure garbage at best and the CGI is really bad. Nothing makes sense from the start. This race they take part in, for 5 million only has 2-3 people? ??What? I can't even write this review. I had to stop watching the movie, and have to stop writing this review.

I don't mind watching low budget movies, foreign movies. But this is something else.
Story 0
Director 0
Post production - 100
Only the cast I can't judge because with this crew even Tom cruise can look bad
Honest review.....! This is the worst movie i've seen this year. Not worth even one star!!!!

Firstly, the name is a selling point, but nothing like the Fast and Furious, nor the Death Race franchises.
The plot is that a millionaire puts on an illegal race from Mexico to L.A. with people betting on the race. It's not a comedy tho, just that same betting poll seen in Rat Race. However no one who places any bets is seen and it can become very confusing to pick up on this. Three drivers have been selected and for some reason some supposedly legendary drivers brother has been reeled in to owe a lot of money to the guy who puts on this race so he can get him to enter his race and make some bigger money. With a bunch of kidnapping and blackmail going on, the main guy enters the race and ends up meeting his Frog along the way who is the millionaires ex girlfriend and needs to get to L.A. with a flash-drive containing evidence to take the millionaire down. Now the main driver has everyone trying to kill him to get the girl, except for those at checkpoints. Will they get to L.A alive?
The film has a lot of stupid plot points to get this guy to drive, and the motive is explained, but blink and you'll miss it. I can see why other reviewers are saying "where's the plot?" What's most likely happened here is the film ran over budget, and they edited together what they had, with key ex machina scenes not filmed, and the climax completely ruined and rushed with what they could film quickly to just have something to end on.
Had this film explained itself better and had a decent ending, it would be pretty good. But what it is is a film that was ok up till the very end with a god awful way to end the film.
Overall, I wouldn't bother. It will just leave you disappointed like you wasted your time watching something half decent only to feel in the end like the movie took a dump on you and ran away.

What a way to fall, DMX had 2 number 1 CDs in the very same year, worked with Jet Li on two big blockbuster films, and seem like things were going good for him. Unfortunately I think he didn't take care of his money or whatever, and did some dog fighting and now his career is kinda ruined. Why do stuff like that when you are already rich? Get out the hood man, don't go back into that lifestyle. You HAVE Money, you don't need to try to keep acting thuggish anymore.
Anyways this is basically Fast and Furious with a lower budget. They even took some lines straight out of the films "I live my life a quarter mile at a time."

Honestly I only watched it because DMX is in it. This would be a great movie if it was on a big budget production. The storyline wasn't bad and the actors did a good job. But it badly lacked research into cars especially from the main actor. Nos at the start of a 1000 mile race by one one actor. A muscle car that clearly has a truck gear box and driving at 180mph with the windows half up while casually moving the steering wheel side to side. I feel it is a B movie and if that was the intention then its good for a b movie. I feel it's the type of movie on late at night on film4 or on scyfy with the likes of sharknado. The best part about this movie was seeing DMX look healthy I would gladly watch movies like this if it meant he was in a good space. RR
DMX did the best acting and isn't an actor. The movie started with a good storyline but then got confusing. Then DMX side kick I was confused on what accent she was doing. The weird lines that seemed to just come out of no where. Jack (main character) lacked acting and definitely didn't convince me as the bad ass that they were portraying him to be. Then the line about I live my life a 1/4 a mile at a time. Really?!? Yall just going to steal Vin Deisel line like that?? 😂😂 Terrible! I guess the writers just ran out of story and then just abruptly ended the movie.
I don't know why but a movie with fast cars, hot women, still needs a plot and half an acting job to be qualified as a starter and a finisher, I couldn't finish this movie, I barely made it to the start of the film. I made it to the 1st check point and said, BAH!!! If you looking for fast cars and such, go watch Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift or wait for Too Fast and Too Fierce which hopefully will be better!! SEE YA AT THE STARTING LINE!!!!!
This is the worst movie I have ever seen, it makes Movie 43 look like Citizen Cane! If you're expecting cool cars and great driving sequences, forget it, looking for a captivating story.. Forget it. Judging DMX for even considering being in this disaster! Over a 100 years of cinema and this is where we're at?!

I can't believe I paid money to watch this! Amazon rated this four and a half stars! It was like watching a bad high school production. I haven't seen as terrible acting as this since the writers strike in the 1970's.
And as for the car action, I have seen better in the local mall car park on a Saturday night.
I don't know what age group this was pitched at but I was thinking under 10s.

The title of the Movie Fast & Fierce: Death Race. And, starring DMX. They try really hard to capitalize on the fame of the Fast & Furious Franchise, even going so far as stealing lines. They also try to bank on the Death Race Franchise.
This movie, if it was a high school project done by the failing student, would be great. As a product that cost anything more than $100 to create, absolute trash.
Bad acting. Conflicting character arcs. Intense emotion with no context, followed by the opposite emotion, without any reason. Terrible CGI, where you clearly see a car in front, and yet, the driver looks in the mirror to check on them. At one point, the white car was in a race to the finish line, was cut off, and cut in behind the other car, only to win the race seconds later. They skipped checkpoint 3. And, totally ignored major plot errors. There's tracking tech in the car. Without anyone following closely, and no other cars in site. Immediate back up/goons. Because of the tracking tech. It's super well hidden. Sitting in plain site in one car, on top of the visor of another. Wireless tech, which a simple button press disengaged, to stop the video feed, yet, cars still being live tracked by home base.
The hardcore killers who kill police like it's nothing, in the very next scene are freaking out because, unknown reason. Told to drive to the airstrip, not seen for an entire day. Show up in the same vehicle, after crossing a border, even though it was a race to get there, and they left half a day later than the racers.
Also, a 1000 mile race, sounds like a 10 hour race. Why did it take 2 days, or more.... At one point they draw attention to the fact that the lead car is going 118 miles per hour, because it's a race.
Please don't waste your time watching this movie.

Amazing acting done by Nate Walker although the storyline is baseless and uninteresting
Terrible acting, screenplay, CGI, and plot(is there even one??). And to make it worst they clearly tried to rip off the fast and the furious with a washed up DMX. Horrible simply horrible!! Avoid this at all cost

This is the worse drama that I've ever seen. Poor choices of words, bad cgi, poor acting, weird cars, etc. I wonder why anyone will put their money in this. Only watch if you nothing to watch.
DMX repose en paix! Mais c'est film est le plus nul de l'année voire même le plus nul de tout le temps.
I've listened to toddlers who told stories with less holes in them than this flick. WTH was I thinking when I chose to watch a movie titled Fast and Fierce, released 20+ years after the 1st Fast and Furious. I've been sober for 7months and this film made me want to pick up the bottle again. Maybe if it started Ron Jeremy, there would have been some sort of a climax. Stay away from this movie.
