I'm Portuguese and so I was curious to see this first "action film made in Angola". It is evident that the film is not well written nor has anything extraordinarily positive, but we must not forget that Angola has almost no path in the film industry. I would consider it a pioneer and demonstrate an honest will to do something that reaches the public. By the way, unfortunately, we know that corruption rules this wonderful country in Africa and that if there is a truly honest police interested in arresting criminals, there will be a lot of work ahead of them. In the middle of the film, the minister says that "we cannot jeopardize the country's reputation", which turns out to be a comic speech.
Amateurism in many aspects of the film clearly compromises him but with a little effort we managed to reach the end, knowing that we are witnessing a historic work.
Although the characters are wanting and the action scenes not as well executed, the film is a phenomenal trial and a bold move towards this particular genre.

When you make a movie, you need to understand that you're telling a story. So, dialogue and narrative are extremely important. With that said, this is by far the worst dialogue I've seen in the past few years; I'm Angolan and I couldn't finish watching this movie.
A movie can also be a portrayal of a society. This movie also failed at that. That is not how Angolan people talk, move or act. So, what is your movie trying to accomplish really?
Now, moving forward, look to Brazillians as an example. They focus on character development and story (City of God, Tropa de Elite, etc). Focus on THAT!

Not all Netflix movies or productions are great. But that does not also mean, that if something is not great, it does not merit watching. I would file this in this category. You have action and tension, even if there are quite a few flaws, predictibility and other things.
Now of course there may be fans, not just of the genre, but of African movies in general. Or low budget effort if you compare this to Hollywood or other big productions. The characters here are finely drawn - not as accessible as others but still distinguishable. Not great then, but also not the worst I've seen

Seriously, don't. Trust me.
I have lived a long time. The time i wasted watching this utter rubbish cannot be retrieved.
If you have the option, find something else. Anything else.
Sorry.
No spoilers.
No spoilers.

Great movie. The entire movie was fantastic. Just disappointing ending. The ending was too linear and frankly, stupid
This is when you put almost all action and sensation cliches in story. Result is awkward, uninspired and sometimes funny as hell. It's almost Miami Vice Afrika Version, however black magic part broke almost everything.
Actions scenes are bad, with green screen and shaky camera movement. Editing is rushed (especially ending). I appreciate director's ideas, but this movie is plain bad.
2/10

I wasn't sure what to expect from an African action film, but this was fun to watch and kept me interested. The quality was much better than expected, kind of a Hollywood auctioneer on a low budget, but done well. I don't know what the haters on are on about here, I guess they just don't like anything that isn't $100 million. If you're looking for a good action film and story from a different perspective you won't be disappointed.

Good work with many technical problems. An extremely low budget and a movie created in a country without consistent cinema culture. Imagine how you would evaluate a movie shot in Europe or USA many many decades ago. That's it. It is really a good movie considering the resources that they had available.

This is what happens when you allow rank amateurs to handle cameras, editing equipment, music, yes there was a soundtrack to this mess, and good actors' careers. A decent story in a country we didn't know about, with actors we will never see again, except for David O'Hara, who was probably paid more than this movie will make. The producer/directors couldn't make up their minds on whether to make a movie for and about Africans or attempt to make a movie for Netflix. This was a jumbled mess!

Don't waste time watching it. Not everything is worth watching on Netflix. This one is a remake Dias Santana (2016).
CGI, Acting, Direction, screenplay....everything is amateurish about this project.

This is by far the worse movie of 2020.. I found myself wondering when it's gonna end or at least get interesting, definitely not worth it..

I'm from South Korea and I've been watching many movies and series from Africa lately. I'm happy that I found this one and, despite the fact that it does have some technical issues, the overall story it is telling is very interesting. Personally, I'd enjoy it even more if they had shown more clearly the political scenario of Angola from when the story happens! I also wish they had proper tools to develop their works with more quality in Africa.
I think a group of friends at the disco decided to make this movie... A very bad movie I don't recommend watching. Your ear got sick before your eye because of loud music.
Loved the movie, the storyline is exciting. A lil too much sex scenes to be honest, but a very good movie. I've heard about Angola and South African, never been there but I am truly happy they got to show exactly how people live there. Some very poor homes you see in the movie are the same from books and pictures I've seen. I am happy for Africa

In overall I liked the movie. It was made in a low budget and it is one of first movies of its category. You're not supposed to be comparing it with multimillion dollar budget Hollywood movies. Moreover, as someone stated below, Angola does not finance nor have degrees in cinema. I am proud of this project and eager to watch the sequence. Come on, the first Angolan movie in Netflix!! It's not perfect, it has several errors of continuation and there's something missing in the argument. But it was a very good effort and Team should be proud and feel accomplished!
A beautiful day to be an Angolan woman!

Complete trash. Don't waste your time watching this movie. Premature story line. I think a bunch of college students decided to make this movie during lock down. Trust me.
