The art is so refreshing, seeing the characters displayed this way. The sound is very good indeed, the development of the characters is also consistent with everything. The way it deals with gender equality and equality between people of different location and social status is very nice. I enjoyed the whole race.

A baby that loved cars, history and crazy / interesting character designs, it would be this anime. It's pure fun to watch, even if the plot is fairly predictable thus far (as of episode 7).

I love this anime. The concept of a cross-country race in turn-of-the-century USA is so much fun, especially for those of us whose interests include both motorsports AND anime (although I recognize this is a niche). The show is mostly light and punchy, and the visuals are spectacular. At first the design of the cars kinda bothered me but they grew on me, especially Appare's boat car. The characters are also pretty well-defined, and each is given a satisfying arc. It isn't afraid to be violent or serious, while most of it is PG-13 in terms of themes and dialogue, making an interesting combination.

A bizarre story with a wide array of different characters. The main character is hard to like; appears to be some sort of autistic clown, but the supporting cast makes up for it.

I don't normally write reviews but we need season 2 now!!! This show is very entertaining, characters are perfect, comedies are clean, funny, graphics are very excellent. I'm very picky on my animes but this one is definitely on my book!

People must understand that every anime is not a action anime its a anime about cars and science and i m loving it.
