Matthias witnesses a terrorist bombing at the Amsterdam train station, which kills his mistress. The entire team rallies together to locate the terrorist cell, who may be planning more bombings every day at 08:00 A.M. Through footage from security cameras, Matthias's affair is revealed to Heleen.

Rogier joins a Palestinian/Israeli negotiation meeting. When Palestinian terrorists take the Israelis hostage, Rogier and translator Dahlia Perlman are locked in the basement. Matthias and the rest of the team scramble to end the hostage. Heleen recruits whizkid Mimoun el Khadir into the team, to Matthias's dismay. Matthias and Heleen discover the truth about the Amsterdam train bombing earlier- it was a Dutchman disguised as a Moroccan.

The team must track down two pots containing Creutzfeldt-Jakob which have been stolen from a secret lab by two animal rights activists. When one of the activists turns out to be Gerben's daughter Marloes, Gerben tries to extract information from her without revealing his top secret job. Following Rogier's mysterious drugging, he can barely remember what happened at the Israeli residence. He meets Dahlia again.

The team works hard to find the location of a Russian man tied and gagged in a room with a radioactive bomb, visible via a web-cam. Mimoun goes undercover in a terrorist cell. Rogier dines with Dahlia. Matthias is still obsessed with Joep, the killer of his mistress Veronique, and lies to Manon to persuade her into having an abortion.

The terrorist cell Mimoun is infiltrating attacks Heleen. Mimoun has to aid in the attack to maintain his cover, and later takes the heat from a furious Matthias. Matthias then decides to give Mimoun a wire. The attack on Heleen may be related to her military past in Afghanistan. Matthias is still obsessed with Joep, putting a strain on his relationship with Manon. Dahlia thinks Rogier is seeing someone else.

The team tries to prevent a recorded conversation of the Queen revealing that she blackmailed the Prime Minister into removing part of the Throne Speech from falling into the hands of the media. The possible culprit is a friend of Tamara's, and Tamara refuses to let the team near him. Rogier asks Dahlia to marry him, not knowing she is actually a spy for the Mossad. Matthias discovers a connection between Joep and Rogier's father, a right-wing extremist.

The team works to prevent terrorists from spreading camel pox, a genetically engineered form of pox which specifically targets non-Arabs. Rogier discovers that Dahlia works for the Mossad and feels betrayed.

After the Ministery of Security is bombed, Matthias and Tamara are trapped in an elevator. As bomb squads, police squads and reporters begin to gather outside, the team struggles to solve the crisis without revealing their existence to the public. Mimoun and Sonja share a kiss. When Mimoun is sent to Matthias's house to collect some info, he accidentally reveals Matthias's former affair with Veronique to Manon. As the team ponders who was responsible for the attack, Matthias makes a surprising discovery about Tamara's past. An oblivious Rogier secretly marries Dahlia, knowing that he'll lose her if his colleagues find out. He is startled when his father shows up at the wedding.

The team must prevent a CIA sniper from killing a visiting Latin American president. Matthias goes off-mission and tracks down Joep, who turns out to be a member of the Neo-Nazistic Blood Flag group, of which Rogier's father is also a member.

After the terrorist cell that Mimoun is infiltrated in attacks her again, Heleen goes into hiding, but she may not be out of the woods yet. Dahlia continues to use an oblivious Rogier to collect information for the Mossad. Heleen and Matthias grow closer when he offers her shelter. Mimoun discovers why the terrorist cell is after Heleen. Preperations are made for an assault on the secret Blood Flag residence.

The team prepares to intercept a nuclear missile being transported from Cuba to Iran. When Rogier leaks information to Dahlia, he has to cover for himself by pinning the blame on one of his colleagues. Rogier also gets into the Blood Flag residence.

The Blood Flag group attempts to execute a large scale terrorist act, hoping to gain national power by pinning the blame on Muslims. Matthias and the rest of the team must try to stop it and discovers a surprising new member of the group. Rogier is released from detainment in order to continue his infiltration at Blood Flag in this critical hour, and still longs for Dahlia, who seems to have left the country.
