A pop-up Tupac-inspired cafe will open in Fresno to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the rapper's death. Before he died, the "Keep Ya Head Up" rapper left behind sketches for a cookbook and a restaurant based on his recipes. The Powamekka Cafe will open thanks to Take 3, a Fresno burger shop, and Sam Hansen, a foodie and marketing director for the Fresno Grizzlies, a minor league baseball team, according to Rolling Stone. The cafe will serve menu items from Tupac's original sketches, as well as some of their own Tupac-themed dishes, such as a California Love Chicken Sandwich and Hennessey Apple Butter chicken wings.

With Tottenham Hotspur drawing at home with Everton and still to play Chelsea, Arsenal’s attempts to gain a 16th consecutive season in the Champions League are now back in their own hands. Of course, with tough games coming up, such as Manchester United and Everton at home, as well as away fixtures against those fighting relegation, The Gunners need to make hay while the sun shines. With Arsenal having three games before Tottenham play in the League again, it is vital that they take full points to apply pressure on their rivals.
With that in mind, a home fixture against a Norwich side on the fringes of the relegation battle looms into view. The Canaries haven’t won in six weeks, but don’t lose many either. Their away record isn’t great, but they will be striving to pick up any points they can to confirm their safety sooner rather than later.

Al Roker has revealed that he "pooped" himself while visiting the White House. The Today anchor made the revelation during an interview on NBC's Dateline. He explained that the embarrassing moment occurred when he was covering an event at Washington DC soon after having gastric bypass surgery in 2002. Roker said: "I probably went off and ate something I wasn't supposed to. And as I'm walking to the press room, [I'm thinking] well, I gotta pass a little gas here. "I'm walking by myself. Who's gonna know? Only a little something extra came out. I pooped my pants." He added that he soon made his way to a restroom and threw away his underwear, before going commando for the rest of the day. Speaking on Today's 'Take 3' segment today (January 8), Roker spoke of his surprise that news of his (more)...

If you were brave enough to see the modern and serious remake of Total Recall on its opening weekend, then you will love our Total Recall Redux Drinking Game we came up with to help make it more… palatable? I am in no way condoning you sneak in a case of your favorite hard liquor but a lot of help is needed to make Total Recall go down smoothly. Let me remind you that this was Not on our 25 Films We Want to See in 2012. So don’t blame us if you didn’t like it. But it’s not unsalvageable!
Now yes, I realize I am asking you to see the film again, but it will be worth it if you get hammered and maybe you’ll eventually hallucinate all of the Mars stuff they decided to take out of the film. As we all know the 1990 original Recall,...

Blink and you’d have missed it: the Barbican’s New Zealand Film Festival 2011 took place over just 3 days in London last weekend. Although it is a nice idea for every country, however small, to have its own festival, it might have been a better to hold one combined festival for Australia and New Zealand, allowing audiences a slightly longer time frame to catch several films, rather than having to fit everything in during the space of one weekend. What’s most important, though, is that the event took place, as it gave audiences a chance to see the first feature film ever made by a New Zealander of Chinese background: My Wedding and Other Secrets (2011).
In this romantic drama-comedy, awkward twenty-somethings Emily and James fall in love. The problem: James is white, and Emily’s parents, immigrants to New Zealand from Hong Kong, have forbidden their daughters from dating anyone outside the Chinese community.
