Of the negative reviews I read, they seem to center on the fact that it's throwing out cases of those that are more than likely guilty. That being said, this is not (should not be) about cases of druggies getting off due to a chemist potentially being high. This is about one of the RARE instances of public officials/organizations getting exposed for their shortcomings (we know that there are a lot that are exposed via docs like this, but mostly unresolved), and a decision that rivals the release of all prisoners from 'The Dark Knight Rises' after their convocations were thrown out due to their DA becoming a terrorist lol.
What's crazy is how many of these exposes come out, and continue to come out, about the same underlying theme...the system is broken across the boards.
It's no wonder there are so many conspiracy theories out there. When you see the level of cover-up that goes on across multiple state agencies, what can we really believe is "truth"?
Sure, this doc is biased one way. But, do you ever wonder...if it was all based solely on exposing government agencies...would it have been made or picked up by a platform that allows so many to see it? You need a group of people to serve as the demo to allow some sort of "story" to serve another purpose other than merely exposure.
Rather than walking away thinking "What about the ones that didn't disclose this information (covered it up), WHY aren't we hearing about them?", you walk away thinking "WOW, I can't believe they all got off!". It's a clever way of JUST giving us a enough, but not truly seeing any real change or consequence...
