That is not to say that An Easter Tale is terrible. It isn't, I quite liked the title song and the whimsical scoring. I did like the idea of the story and some of the colours in the animation are lovely. However, the background art didn't convince me, it lacks fluidity and there are other parts where it feels like an over-saturated painting. The character designs are stiff and crude. The writing is cheesy instead of funny and mawkish instead of poignant, two things I do look for in an animation about Easter. The story is a great idea, but the execution of it feels padded out and nothing really surprised or charmed me. The characters were either too bland or annoying to make me care about them. The voice acting is just okay, nobody necessarily terrible but nobody stood out either. Overall, in regard to Blye Migicovsky it is better than The Count of Monte Cristo but I did find The Toy Shop much better. 4/10 Bethany Cox

I've been searching once more for great Easter specials to favor. I saw this animated Easter special on YouTube through my Roku TV one Friday after watching a movie. It may not be to everyone's taste, but I really enjoy it, and it's another favorite. I wish to emphasize that I am not a bot, and I maintain an indifference towards the judgments of others.
In this Easter special, Star, the chosen rabbit, sprains his foot after falling down a hole, forcing "awkward" rabbit Maxwell to deliver the Easter eggs to the nearby village. Naturally, to exacerbate the situation, there is a villain who wants the eggs for himself. That's all I can tell you; you'll have to watch the special to find out how it ends.
So anyway, I thought this special was another Easter favorite. And you know, I'm surprised that Esmeralda wasn't addressed as "Princess Esmeralda" since King Hobb is her dad.
