The movie was shot in two three-week stay in Eastern Tibet, in plateaus 15,000 feet high on average, with peaks at 20,000 feet, with a very tight crew of four: the two characters, Sylvain and Vincent, the director, Marie, and the DA, Léo-Pol.
The crew faced harsh temperatures, usually around 0°F during February in this part of Tibet, with -13°F in the morning.
The film was selected in the ephemeral "Cinema for the Climate" section of the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
