The forbidden egg

Although this short film doesn't offer much, it is another interesting look into the world of Alien. Short and simple plot with nothing to explain, the short film is quite admirable for its production. They respected every detail of David's laboratory seen in Alien: Covenant. The exploration inside the alien egg is well done in anatomical aspects. Although this is a sequel to Alien: Covenant, it offers no information about David's plans or any other essential clues to his misdeeds. More should have been offered about what could possibly happen in a future sequel. It would have been more interesting if more detail was given about the explorer and the reason why he has been sent to collect information from the laboratory. Still, it's a good short film that any Alien fan can enjoy. My final rating for this short film is an 8/10.
