Black women on stage

It is an interesting film on the lives of black women in Brazil along time, with a good idea and two good actresses in the leading roles which personify that history. However, I felt it a little tepid. Besides that, I think that a more organic and realistic cinematography would work better and bring spectator more deeply into the movie. Indeed, perhaps the script would also have worked much better as a theater play.
