I watched THE AUDITION and enjoyed it very much. But, when I went to review it, I saw that the information about the film was often wrong on IMDb. The summary has nothing to do with THIS film--there is no lawyer/dancer and the very long cast isn't right--only some of these characters are in the film. Oddly, when I tried clicking on Rick Marcus (the director) this link was broken. I sure hope somebody notices and corrects these many errors.
It's sad that there are so many mistakes on this page, as THE AUDITION is a very clever film. A small group of guys are waiting to audition for a voice-over part and one of the men spends his time annoying the job seekers with his countless impressions of TV, movie and cartoon characters (some of which he definitely did NOT appear to do himself but were dubbed--a minor problem). By the time the film is complete, practically everyone is gone--leading to a nice twist ending.
Well done by all--I just hope that they straighten out all the mistakes on IMDb--especially since this film shows a lot of promise.
UPDATE--Apparently the information by IMDb is still wrong and the people connected with the film are trying to get this fixed. Also, they are aware of the sound dubbing problems but considering the small amount of time they had to finish the film for a contest, this is certainly understandable.
