And after 9 years, the young lad who didn't like Prem aka Salman Khan in the film, had a sort of a reunion when he recently met the Dabangg Khan on the sets of his controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss 10. Ali Haji was very excited to meet his mentor and favourite superstar Salman after so many years and certainly made him nostalgic at that moment. Mumbai, July 31: After penning dialogues for many films like "D Day", "Ra.One", "We Are Family", and "My Name Is Khan" among others, Niranjan Iyengar is keen on writing a comedy.

"I want to write a comedy. My personality is such. I have done only one film, which had tones of comedy, which was 'Life Partner'. But I want to dabble into that part of my writing more," Iyengar told Ians.

Apart from writing dialogues for films, he has also penned lyrics for songs for films like "My Name Is Khan" and "Kurbaan" among others. Later he penned the item number "Halkat jawani" for "Heroine" and says it was to prove his versatility.

Hard at work on her latest project, Leighton Meester filmed scenes for "Life Partner" in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday (May 19).

Dressed in a colorful and funky ensemble of rainbow tights, denim shorts and matching suspenders, the "Gossip Girl" star joined in at The Long Beach Gay Pride Parade.

In the independent film, Leighton will play a "lesbian slacker" named Sasha. Sasha's straight pal Paige, played by Gillian Jacobs, has made a vow not to get married until they both have the same rights.

However, things begin to change when Paige meets a young and charming doctor (Adam Brody) and their romance heats up. "Life Partner" is set for release in 2014.

Adam Brody has joined the cast of Think Like A Man Too.

The former Oc star will play a former frat brother of Kevin Hart's character Cedric, Deadline reports.

Hart starred in last year's Think Like A Man, which was based on the bestselling book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man.

Original screenplay writers Keith Merryman and David A Newman will return to pen the new film.

Brody will next appear alongside Amanda Seyfried and James Franco in Lovelace.

He is currently filming comedy The Life Partner opposite real-life girlfriend Leighton Meester.

Think Like A Man Too is set for release on June 20, 2014.

Leighton Meester and Gillian Jacobs have begun filming The Life Partner.

The comedy was one of 12 feature film projects selected for the Sundance Institute Screenwriters Lab in 2012, and also stars Adam Brody, Gabourey Sidibe and Kate McKinnon.

Jacobs plays a young woman who drunkenly promises her lesbian best friend (Meester) that she won't get married until gay marriage is legal.

But when her boyfriend (Brody) proposes, things become more complicated.

The film has been largely unpublicised, but according to the Facebook page of actress Simone Bailly, filming is now underway in La.

Originally a play, the script was co-written by director Susanna Fogel and Joni Lefkowitz.

Meester was recently cast alongside Robert Downey Jr and Vera Farmiga in drama The Judge.

Comedy veteran Govinda, who is now attempting his second run at Bollywood success following a brief detour into a short lived political career, says that though the nature of the Hindi film industry has changed since he started out, he wants to “remain an actor all my life”. One of the major things the actor has learned about the contemporary film business is the importance of the promotions machine.

“Publicity drama has become a very important part for any film now. It is an important element. That’s the only reason why some of my previous movies didn’t do well.” says the actor – whose recent forays into film have included Do Knot Disturb, Naughty@40, Life Partner and Money Hai Toh Honey Hai. Director Rumi Jaffery, who recently directed the movie Life Partner, told the media that he has approached Nicole Kidman to ‘do a song’ in his latest film Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai, but he would not call it ‘an item song.’

The director went on to tell the media, “We have mailed Nicole the song and her response is positive, just her dates are awaited.”

Rumi also informed the media that Nicole was not the first choice saying, “Earlier, Shakira had been approached for it, but due to some monetary issues, it couldn’t work out.”

Fardeen Khan (of Heyy Babyy 2007 fame) is the son of the late Feroz Khan. Unfortunately, this star kid has never really attained stardom. But the actor is all set to revive his father’s banner and has reportedly signed Rumi Jaffery (of Life Partner 2009 fame). Rumi Jaffrey confirmed, “It will be a romantic comedy and we have zeroed down on the subject. The Popular categories of the Micromax Iifa Awards 2010 include Best Film, Best Direction, Performance in a Leading Role - Male & Female, Performance in a Supporting Role - Male & Female, Performance in a Comic Role, Performance in a Negative Role, Music Direction, Best Story, Best Lyrics and Best Playback Singer.

Films years ago and has produced a string of movies, besides Qurbani, which was a smash hit. Now Fardeen is ready to follow in his father's footsteps and produce movies. Fardeen has decided to produce his first film, which will not be made under his father's banner. "I will start a different production house for this one. It's a comedy," Fardeen tells me of his first independent project, but adds instantly, "I also plan to fulfil my father's dream of remaking Qurbani, which, of course, will be made under my father's banner." Incidentally, Fardeen has a fantastic track record when it comes to comedies. No Entry, Heyy Babyy, Life Partner and All The Best, comedies all, have been successes.
