This is a quirky indie film with a lot of heart. It has moments of laughter, sadness, a real sense of what a border crossing is like but hopeful and rich in acting, editing, and the cinematography is outstanding. Rent it. You won't be disappointed. I've seen this film at a few film festivals. And had the privileged of attending its screening premiere in McAllen Texas. The audience response was awesome. They laughed a lot. Everyone in the theater really enjoyed the twists and turns Cruzando provided. Its not what you expect from a movie that deals with immigration crossing. It takes you on a ride and it doesn't dwell on the dramatic nature of the immigration experience. It's a good story. You feel for the characters and I love the ending. Bold.
