The Guest is soooo creepy! I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley. This short film is not a masterpiece but it's well worth a look! I recommend watching it alone in a dark room.

Interesting, atmospheric and well acted short film.
The story is simple but well told (although I was confused by the use of a hearing aid in the main character's situation). Very good camera work and pacing creates a feeling of a nightmare and dread without showing any blood and gore, which is something rare these days. It also does not spell out it's MEANING and remains somewhat mysterious, which is something I prefer.
Both actresses were brilliant and very well chosen for their roles. The Guest is quite a unique monster as well. I liked that it seemed to be created without using CGI, it looked more material and nightmarish.
I am looking forward to more films from this director and team.
