Most of the original soundtrack from Pro Skater 1 and 2 was brought back except for a few tracks due to licensing issues:

• "Committed" by Unsane
• "B-Boy Document '99" by The High & Mighty featuring Yasiin Bey & Mad Skillz
• "Out With The Old" by Alley Life featuring Black Planet

On July 28th, 2020, Vicarious Visions confirmed that "Cyco Vision" by Suicidal Tendencies and "Bring the Noise" by Anthrax and Chuck D were returning despite previous reports that they weren't.

Posters of previous Tony Hawk titles can be seen in the hangar level, however Bam Margera does not appear on the Tony Hawk's Underground 2 (2004) poster due to legal issues.

First Tony Hawk game developed by Vicarious Visions. They previously did console ports for the series.

If all alien plushies are collected the Roswell alien will be unlocked as a playable character.

Tony Hawk confirmed on a livestream that a remake of Pro Skater 3+4 was planned, but was canceled by Activision.
