A who's who of classic Heavy Metal and rockin for a great cause!

This project was put together by Ronnie James Dio when the idea to write and record a "heavy metal" style "We are the world" was brought to him by virtuoso guitarist Vivian Campbell. There are several classic metal recording artists in this video and on the recording. There are vocalists, guitarists, drummers, bassists and more. Some of the Metal Masters in this video and on the recording are Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Geoff Tate of Queensryche, Don Dokken, Ronnie James Dio, Kevin Dubrow of Quiet Riot, George Lynch of Dokken, Vivian Campbell of Dio, Neal Schon of Journey, Vinny Appice of Dio, Frankie Banali of Quiet Riot, Jimmy Bain of Dio and several more Heavy Metal Greats. The song is very well written and the musicianship is phenomenal. The song raised money for a great cause. Rumor has it that not one musician, performer etc. Got paid for their time and efforts in order to raise as much money as possible for the cause. It shows that rockers have a heart and care. Well done!
