Hooked on binge-watching a television show about a man and his tigers on a nature channel, the two ladies hatch the perfect plan to save the Tiger King himself. From the living rooms of LA to the wilds of Africa, our dynamic duo embark on a curve-flattening journey to free Joe from a fate worse than Carole Baskin.

Barbie & Kendra Save the Tiger King (2020)

I became an official voter for the Razzies, aka the Golden Raspberry Awards, at the beginning of 2020, and I was looking forward to voting again in 2021, despite there being no cinemas open in the coronavirus pandemic. The Razzies this year would include films released online, and I received an email of suggested titles that could receive nominations, of those released before lockdown and on digital platforms. Among the suggested titles were a trilogy of films starring characters named Barbie and Kendra, and I could tell just by the poster that this, the second of the three films, it was going to be awful. Basically, after narrowly escaping corona zombies, dumb blonde Barbie (Cody Renee Cameron) goes round to see her best friend, equally ditsy brunette Kendra (Robin Sydney). With COVID-19, or coronavirus, causing social distancing and devastation across the world, they decide to isolate together and binge-watch television. Kendra tells Barbie about the show The Tiger King, which she has become hooked on, all about the life of Joe Exotic, who breeds tigers. Together they watch the documentary The Great Catsby: Joe Exotic Story on BPN (Big Pussy Network). In this TV special, it shows Lil Joe Exotic (voiced by Leslie Jordan) as a young boy who was involved in a plane crash and ended up lost in the wilds of Africa to be found by a tribe and raised to become leader, or the Tiger King. It also shows his mother and her ex on a mission to find young Joe in the jungle. From watching this special, Kendra believes that Joe Exotic is innocent of his wrongdoings against Carole Baskin, who she believes is the real enemy. Kendra just happens to have the contact number of John Reinke (himself), the former zoo manager who worked alongside Joe, and she and Barbie have a conversation with him online. Following this chat (or interview of sorts) the girls realise that they have the ability to transport themselves anywhere, by using the magical pack of toilet paper. In one instance, the girls find themselves in the desert with a giant robot and get away using the magical remote control of the television. After an announcement from President Donald Trump, the Space Force logo appears onscreen, marking the beginning of the next adventure for the ditsy girls. Also starring Russell Coker as the Coronavirus Zombie. The majority of the film is footage from the films Terror in the Jungle (1968) and Luana, the Girl Tarzan! (1968) with new and deliberately silly overdubbed dialogue. The only original material are the scenes of Barbie and Kendra, which lasts about 10-15 minutes, including the real talk with Joh Reinke. The lead characters are highly annoying stereotypical young beautiful stupid women, the footage of the used jungle movies is daft, but the entire film being made up of footage from two other (virtually unknown) movies is just lazy. All its attempts to be funny, from the leading characters to the silly redubbed dialogue, with &quot;jokes&quot; about recent culture and news, including coronavirus, celebrities, TV, and other stuff, are just awful. I will admit however, the interview with Reinke and what he had to say about his experiences with Joe Exotic and the making of The Tiger King are genuinely interesting. Otherwise, it is easily one of the cheapest made (for obvious reasons) and most ridiculous films of recent times, only an idiot will find this funny or enjoyable. You&#39;d much rather be wearing a face mask, constantly cleaning surfaces, and excessively putting on hand gel or washing your hands than watching this atrocious comedy. It was nominated the Razzies for Worst Director for Charles Band for All 3 Barbie &amp; Kendra movies (along with Corona Zombies and Barbie &amp; Kendra Storm Area 51), and Worst Screenplay (All 3 Barbie &amp; Kendra movies). Pretty poor!

Barbie & Kendra Save the Tiger King

I haven&#39;t seen the first movie -- Corona Zombies -- but I will be checking it out soon. This isn&#39;t exactly a parody, but it&#39;s a comic look at Joe Exotic using old movies - redubbed (like Tiger Lily was) clips of Joe Exotic, and new footage of Barbie and Kendra. It doesn&#39;t deserve the bad reviews it&#39;s getting fro peopel who don&#39;t even take the time to write a review. They likely haven&#39;t watched the film. Given the super low budget, there&#39;s a lot more creatively in this film than you&#39;d expect.

Grieving my last couple of braincells that I lost after watching this abomination.

Completely boring, silly and non-sense... one star it too much...
