Ms. Lartilleux you need to get ur money back.
Carlos: Lack of creativity, imagination, no connection in storylines, inconsistency in the "HOOK"; which is why people watch these soaps; "Bad Guys" do the same thing every single time, characters do not develop, even a little bit over entire story, intelligible characters are conveniently dumbed down to fit into lazy writing. I mean it is fiction after all but not science fiction.
Carlos and Delia: your story concept was good but lacked foundation, and substance which was replaced with frivolous un relatable scenes and gaps in the story line that could have been filled with obvious dialogue which was set up in prior episodes but for whatever reason was not linked, to up the effect and give a bit of balance to an otherwise monotonous plot, but was ignored for, again, lazy writing. It is almost as if they forgot that this link was set up in previous episodes. So much Inconsistency.
Rushing to sum up the plot of a 195 episode story in the last 3-4 episodes is just a pure dunce move. You may as well have just killed out the characters, this might have made it more meaningful.
Ask yourselves: why do people watch these thigs, they see and identify with the "hook", what is this? It's that thing that appeals to the watchers on a personal level, that they can almost identify with and sometimes see themselves as. A relatable scenario (not drawn out along the whole damn series, this is not Dallas nobody is hanging on to see who shot JR) that provides much needed balance that does not have the "bad guys" get away every time and that can have the good guys sometimes loose but with a twist to win in the end, everybody loves a happy ending usually where the love interests or good guys come out on top.
So much better can be done, especially if your have some resources at your disposal, the houses/mansions that were used are excellent, the Tenement yards are realistic and so are some of the scenery and sites.
I just saw the last couple of episodes of CCEA and found it to be somewhat intriguing but monotonous as in "he loves me he, loves me not" on and on, with some sadistic portrayals of common sins i.e. Lying, contempt, envy, jealousy, hatred etc. But no clever quips or comebacks, caught outs or busted scenes to top off months of mediocrity and monotony, so I attempted to watch the reruns to find out where the hook began and where it devolved to the point where I began watching it initially, this was a mistake on my part because it was soo tedious and repetitive it had me fast forwarding through the show to see if it was as I expected and lo and behold not to my surprise it was...same plot no new antics or adventures or moving on or developing of characters or anything.. If you need help in future endeavors I am available free of charge... for the items above at least...
