Known for taking a surreal but insightful attitude to nature, many of The Far Side's best comics extend this logic to dinosaurs. Indeed, Gary Larson's dino-comics are so beloved, his term for a stegosaurus' tail spikes was actually adopted by real-life scientists. However, dinosaurs also give Larson the chance to indulge The Far Side's tendency to go darker than its newspaper-comic peers.
Here, then, are the 10 darkest Far Side comics about dinosaurs, in which razor-toothed beasts and incoming extinction allow the comic to shed any semblance of Marmaduke-like purity and go for the jugular.
New Dinosaur Eggs
Two hapless archeologists are about to be met with a grim surprise when a mother T-Rex returns home to find them handling her newly hatched eggs. Typical to The Far Side's darkest jokes, the strip leaves much to the imagination, with the terrifying predator’s shadow looming over the two on-panel humans.

Only a few weeks after David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan got cast as Superman and Lois Lane in Superman: Legacy, a fan trailer has come out, giving a taste of what they will be like in the iconic DC roles. DC Studios is actively working on the DC Universe Chapter 1 film with Superman: Legacy, which Gunn wrote and is set to direct. Production is currently eyed to start in 2024 as pre-production is still ongoing on the Superman reboot.
Towards the end of June, Corenswet and Brosnahan were officially cast as the new Clark and Lois for Superman: Legacy, getting the film one step closer to finally happening. Not even a month has passed, and the fan trailers have already started to roll out, with Screen Culture imagining Corenswet and Brosnahan as Superman and Lois.
A lot of the Superman-related footage is used from Superman & Lois, which recently wrapped up its third season.

Quentin Tarantino has reportedly completed the screenplay for his tenth and final movie, and it's rumored that the main character could be based on beloved movie critic Pauline Kael. Tarantino has said for years that he wants to retire after his tenth movie, and that time is near, as he has finished the script, titled The Movie Critic. The film sounds almost like the "greatest hits" of Tarantinoisms, as it hits every beat, such as the 70s time period, the Los Angeles location, and a female protagonist. But it also marks a leap forward, as it doesn't sound all that violent.
Given the fact that Tarantino's The Movie Critic has a female protagonist, many have speculated that it could be movie critic Pauline Kael. Tarantino hasn't had the best track record with critics. He has constantly battled them over violence in movies, most notably when he locked horns with Jan Wahl...
