In association with the Times Square Advertising Coalition (TSAC), Times Square Arts (the public art program of the Times Square Alliance), and the New Museum, Pipilotti Rist's "Öffne meine Lichtung" was featured on Times Square's electronic billboards from 11:57 p.m. to midnight every night in January 2017. The project was a part of Midnight Moment, a monthly presentation by the TSAC and Times Square Arts, and was presented in partnership with the record-breaking survey exhibition "Pipilotti Rist: Pixel Forest", on view at the New Museum at the time.
