The story takes place in St. Petersburg, Russia. Two Russian schoolgirls suffer crash in natural love. Once they've met each other and fall in love. But once they've found that they are sisters...

Masha, 16, meets Anya, 14, after a difficult breakup with her boyfriend. Anya is friendless, lonely, finding Masha more experienced and seductive. The two see a strange connection in each other which becomes an intense love-affair.
