Most of the cast have collaborated with Ansel Faraj and Nathan Wilson on previous films: Christine Tucker and Katie Hampton appeared in Will & Liz (2018); Asia Maxine Bass, Kirk Palmer, David Wunderlich, and Jonas Kilker all appeared in Todd Tarantula (2023) ; Matthew Anderson appeared in A Gambling Man (2013), Crypto (2018), and Loon Lake (2019); Jackson Gutierrez appeared in A Gambling Man (2013) and A Descent Into a Maelstrom (2014); while Kathryn Leigh Scott , Lara Parker , David Selby , Lisa Blake Richards, Jerry Lacy , Douglas M. Eames , Elyse Ashton , and Kelly Erin Decker are all regular collaborators and have featured in numerous past projects.
The project has been in development since 2012. At first it was planned as a short film, then in 2014 it had grown into a six episode webseries, before finally expanding into a feature film script around 2019.
Jim Storm was set to appear in the film, but sadly had to drop out a few days before his sequence would be shot due to a scheduling conflict.
Nathan Wilson pitched the character of "Nick Dick" to Ansel Faraj on day one of production of their first film collaboration Brother Drop Dead (2012).
Kathryn Leigh Scott , Lara Parker , David Selby , Lisa Blake Richards, Jerry Lacy all were co-stars on Dark Shadows (1966).
